Chinese zodiac signs predictions for 2024 (Part 2)

by Joanna Deala

IN THE past few days, Instagram users have probably seen the “add yours” sticker on other people’s stories, prompting them to share at least six photos of them before 2023 ends.

Hundreds have already jumped on this trend, with many young people sharing selfies they took this year.

While some are bidding farewell to 2023, others are preparing to welcome 2024 with high hopes that it will be a better year.

As they look forward to 2024, these individuals are probably eager to know what their Chinese zodiac signs have in store for them in the upcoming Year of the Wood Dragon.

If this piques your curiosity, here’s the second part of the readings made by Feng Shui expert Master Hanz Cua for each sign:

Year of the Horse (1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, 2026)

For individuals who were born in the Year of the Horse, they would have to be extra careful in the coming year to prevent falling victim to various crimes such as theft, robbery, and scam, said Master Hanz.

Theft and robbery are among the focus crimes that are being monitored by the Philippine police.

Master Hanz told republicasia that those who were born in the Year of the Horse would be “prone” to scams, being cheated on, and betrayal by others in the Year of the Wood Dragon.

“If it’s too good to be true, it’s not true,” he cautioned. “Mag-double-check ka, ‘wag basta maniwala [para] sa Year of the Horse.”

Year of the Goat (1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015, 2027)

People born in the Year of the Goat could be a great help to those who were born in the Year of the Horse because these signs are “best friends,” said Master Hanz.

He said that the Year of the Horse would likely “listen” to the Year of the Goat, which is why it would be better for the former to have a friend born in the latter year.

“Makakatulong if may goat ka na friend. [Ang] goat na friend ng horse this year kailangan kasi sa goat, nasa kanila po ang tinatawag nating mga long-term success o achievements,” he explained.

Year of the Monkey (1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028)

Meanwhile, the Feng Shui master saw a lot of “creativity” in those who were born in the Year of the Monkey.

In the previous republicasia article, he said that the Year of the Wood Dragon would not be “easier” and that people would need to exert more effort to earn extra income.

But the creativeness of those born in the Year of the Monkey might help them thrive in the coming year.

“Monkey, marami siyang creativity. Lagi niyang iniisip ang mga long-term na mga investment,” he said. “Diyan ka pumasok dahil yan ang success ng Year of the Monkey ngayong taon.”

Year of the Rooster (1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017, 2029)

For the Year of the Rooster, 2024 might be a good year for you as it is “best friends” with the Year of the Dragon, according to Master Hanz.

“Magandang mag-baby, magandang opportunity din ‘to, maraming taong tutulong, maraming blessing ‘to,” he said.

But while 2024 might be a good year for them, Master Hanz noted that those who were born in the Year of the Rooster have “five yellow misfortune stars” that they need to cure with the help of Feng Shui experts.

“Rooster, bestfriend niya po [Year of the Dragon], may Tai Sui clash siya,” he shared.

In Chinese astrology, if a person’s zodiac has a conflict with Tai Sui or the Grand Duke Jupiter, they may face misfortunes or have a challenging year.

“This year ay may 5 yellow misfortune star ang rooster. Yun lang yung ‘pag na cure, na-enhance na niya, magandang taon ‘to sa rooster na ‘to,” he emphasized.

Year of the Dog (1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018, 2030)

While the Year of the Rooster is its best friend, Master Hanz said that the Year of the Dog is an enemy of the Year of the Dragon.

If a person was born in the Year of the Dog, then 2024 may not be your year, he said.

“Sa Year of the Dog, kailangan niyo po mas maging mag-slowdown,” the Feng Shui master said.

But based on his readings, the Year of the Dog has a love star and examination luck star, which will make 2024 be a good year for their love life and for them to take examinations.

He advised them to wear love amulet charms.

Year of the Pig (1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, 2031)

Like the Year of the Dog, those who were born in the Year of the Pig also have a love star but in order to activate it, the Feng Shui expert said they have to “mingle” or “socialize” with other people.

For those who will take examinations next year, Master Hanz advised them to study hard while facing the northeast direction.

“Maglagay sa northeast direction ng abacus niyo po to enhance education or examination luck star this year,” he continued.

The Feng Shui expert had said that everyone, regardless of their Chinese zodiac sign, has to be more hardworking and determined to make the Year of the Wood Dragon favorable to all. He noted that the coming year might not be a lucky one, given that the wealth element is either “missing” or inadequate.

But there are still ways to prosper in 2024, including wearing Pi Yao bracelets and money catcher. Master Hanz said that it would also be good for individuals–except those who were born in the Year of the Dog–to display a dragon charm in the southeast direction.

Aside from these charms, he advised everyone to always have a “Plan B” in whatever they opt to do.

“Think out of the box para mas magawa natin yung gusto nating gawin dahil this year is a year of new things. ‘Yun ang dapat nating gawin ngayong taon,” he said.

All of these predictions that Master Hanz based on the stars can be used as a guide. But at the end of the day, he emphasized that it’s still you who will decide what you will become in the coming year.

“Again, ang Feng Shui ay gabay lamang. Kayo pa rin po ang gumagawa ng swerte niyo, dahil nasa inyong mga kamay nakasalalay ang inyong mga tagumpay,” he said.
