BRAT SUMMER isn’t over!
Yesterday, October 7, artist Charli XCX released the tracklist for her upcoming album remix release for “BRAT” on Friday.
The album will contain remixes of almost all of the songs on “BRAT’ as well as one song from her follow-up album, “Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not.”
Both currently have millions of streams on Spotify and a Metacritic rating of 95.
“BRAT” is also the iconic album that started the trend of “brat summer,” characterized by a bright green and “hot girl behavior.”
The tracklist and the artists to be featured are as follows:
- 360 ft. Robyn & Yung Lean
- Club classics ft. BB Trickz
- Sympathy is a knife ft. Ariana Grande
- I might say something stupid ft. The 1975 & Jon Hopkins
- Talk talk ft. Troye Sivan
- Von dutch ft. Addison Rae
- Everything is romantic ft. Caroline Polacheck
- Rewind ft. Bladee
- So i ft. A.G. Cook
- Girl, so confusing ft. Jorde
- Apple ft. The Japanese House
- B2b ft. Tinashe
- Mean girls ft. Julian Casablancas
- I think about it all the time ft. Bon Iver
- 365 ft. Shygirl
- Guess ft. Billie Eilish
Fans were quick to show excitement over the news while also suggesting other artists Charli can collaborate with in the future, such as Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Kesha.
Some, however, were saddened because it seems that there will be no remix for the other songs from “Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not,” namely “Spring breakers,” and “Hello goodbye.”
