BTS’ V and Jimin dropped a hint regarding their upcoming military enlistment this year.
On October 14, during V’s live solo meeting titled (V) ICNIC, fans sparked speculation about his military enlistment date due to the statement he made. The event featured close-up photos, live performances, and fan interactions. V also extended an invitation to his close friend and fellow BTS member, Jimin, to join him on stage.
While having the conversation regarding appearing on the reality show ”Running Man,” V discussed how they intended to proceed on doing it “before they have to go this year.”
V’s statement prompted reactions from the ARMY, with some saying that it could be a subtle indicator for their upcoming military enlistment.
BTS’ music label, BIGHIT Music, has not made any official confirmation regarding the enlistment.
Three BTS members Jin (since December 13, 2022), J-hope (since April 18, 2023), and SUGA (since September 23, 2023) are currently serving in the military.
