BTS Jungkook’s ‘GOLDEN’ album makes history on Spotify

BTS’ Jungkook released his first-ever solo album “GOLDEN” on November 3 and the album quickly gained a staggering achievement.

On the very first day of its release, “GOLDEN” immediately garnered over 39 million filtered streams across all tracks, setting a record for the biggest debut K-pop solo album in Spotify’s history. 

His new album includes the following tracks: 

1.) 3D

2.) Closer to you

3.) Seven

4.) Standing Next to You

5.) Yes or No

6.) Please Don’t Change

7.) Hate You

8.) Somebody

9.) Too Sad to Dance

10.) Shot Glass of Tears

11.) Seven

All the songs in the “GOLDEN” album also soared in the Top 30 of Spotify’s daily Global Top songs chart. 

Aside from having his songs in the Top 30, Jungkook’s smash-hit pre-release single “Seven” returned to no.1 while his new track “Standing Next To You” at no. 2.

In addition, “GOLDEN” has also sold over 2 million copies on its first day, breaking the records for both the highest first-day and first-week sales of solo albums in Hanteo.
