by Joanna Deala

K-POP powerhouse BTS delighted their fans with the release of their first-ever live album, “Permission to Dance On Stage – Live,” ahead of their long-awaited comeback as a full group next year.

Released on July 18, the album contains 22 tracks of the boy group’s performances from their “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour from 2021 to 2022. The tour, which kicked off in Seoul, South Korea, was held online and offline due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The tracklist includes live versions of hit songs “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance.” According to a Naver article shared by Big Hit Music, BTS’s label, the album also features live versions of newly arranged songs for the concert, such as “Fire” and “IDOL,” which were reconstructed with a more intense sound.

Meanwhile, the live versions of “Dynamite” and “Butter” have added brass sessions to exude cheerful energy to listeners.Other fan-favorite songs “Blood, Sweat & Tears,” “DNA,” “FAKE LOVE,” and “Spring Day” were also part of the “Permission to Dance On Stage – Live” album.

But wait, there is more! BTS will also release the “Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul” digital package, featuring the septet’s performance at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul in 2022.

The 141-minute package will be available on the global fandom platform Weverse, featuring an interview photobook of BTS’ moments and behind-the-scenes from the concert.

The “Permission to Dance On Stage – Live” album came after all seven BTS members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—reunited for the first time on a Weverse livestream after they completed their mandatory military service. Suga was the last BTS member to be discharged on June 21.

Before this, the six other members were spotted at J-Hope’s “Hope on the Stage Final” concert at the Goyang Sports Complex in South Korea.

BTS earlier revealed that they will release a new album and go on a world tour in the spring of 2026. According to reports, the septet will be in the United States to work on their new music.

The boy group recently celebrated the anniversary of their beloved fandom ARMY, with Jimin sharing a photo of himself in what appears to be a recording studio.
