AFTER a period of solo activities, BLACKPINK members are back together— this time, lighting up the screen in the newly released trailer for their upcoming “Deadline” World Tour.
In the 26-second teaser that premiered on June 26, the members are seen in a dusty, cinematic Western set reminiscent of Old Hollywood cowboy films. Channeling bold “spaghetti western” energy, the girls don fierce, stylized outfits while walking through a ghost-town-like desert.
The trailer peaks as they jump into a pink convertible with “BLINK” on the license plate.
The “Deadline” World Tour will officially kick off in Goyang, South Korea, with two shows scheduled on July 5 and 6.
According to reports, BLACKPINK is expected to debut a new song during the opening leg of the tour—making it an even more anticipated moment for BLINKs worldwide.
From there, the tour will make stops in major cities across the globe, including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
Since wrapping up their record-breaking “Born Pink” World Tour in 2023, the members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—have each been focused on solo pursuits.
Jisoo made her acting debut in the 2021 Korean drama “Snowdrop” and released her solo single “Flower,” which topped iTunes charts globally.
Jennie starred in HBO’s “The Idol” and launched her own creative label, Odd Atelier in 2023.
Rosé continued her work as a global ambassador for Saint Laurent.
Lisa made history by winning Best K-pop at the MTV VMAs in 2022.
