WHILE Bini Aiah is happy to take fan requests and interaction, she also emphasizes her need for personal space–clarifying it on social media.
The artist explained on X (formerly Twitter) that while she appreciates interacting with her fans, there are instances where considering the importance of one’s personal space is essential.
I saw how a lot of people are distressed with the statement I posted. Again, I never had any issues with taking photos and meeting with people, but it's these kinds of situations and other personal times that I think not only I need it, but anyone else does too.

I’m sorry if asking for a little privacy feels like too much now or that I should just suck it up and deal with it but when your friends are sent to the ER, I don’t think you’ll still have enough light to smile and think that everything is okay.

Aiah later retweets her friend’s tweet, stating how she was disrespected inappropriately.
Her friend continues to write details on how they’ve also encountered instances of blatant unprofessional behavior–including the one where a nurse asked for a picture of her.
It wasn’t the first time that the artist had encountered something like this as last Sunday (July 7), the artist had released a statement on instagram–speaking up about the incident in Cebu.
During a recent trip to her hometown, she shared how there were times where people would come to her during her private time.
She wrote on how some people would directly run up to her and take snaps of her to be later posted in real-time without her consent. The worst part was some would even include her real-time location that could potentially put her at risk.
The group member clarified that she enjoys interacting with her fans but hopes that her fans would see and respect BINI members as people.
