Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter is now the highest-grossing country tour of all time

by Deanna Macaranas

FOLLOWING a statement released by Live Nation on Monday, Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” is now the highest-grossing country tour ever.

In March 2024, the R&B artist released her eighth studio album titled “Cowboy Carter,” which includes one of her most successful songs titled “Texas Hold ‘Em,” which garnered 704 million streams as of writing.

The unwavering success of her “Cowboy Carter” album became the highest-grossing country touring, gathering the amount of $400 million in revenue with the 32 sold-out stadium shows across North America, the UK, and Europe.

This success also made Beyoncé the highest-grossing Black artist of all time as well as the highest-grossing R&B artist of all time.

She also made history as the first woman and American act to have two different tours earn over $400 million.

She was also the first Black woman to win Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

While accepting her award at the Grammys, Beyoncé spoke up about not feeling welcomed in the country genre despite having Texan roots.

On her previous record-breaking tour in Las Vegas last Saturday, she was joined by her husband Jay-Z, her former girl group Destiny’s Child, and country singer Shaboozey.

Queen Bey first rose to popularity as the lead singer of R&B girl group Destiny’s Child. Later on, she further became well-known through her top hits, “Crazy In Love,” “Single Ladies,” and “Halo.”
