NETIZENS speculated a possible reunion project between Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales, after the former posted a dinner photo with the latter on her Instagram page.
The photo could be found on the second slide of Curtis’ compilation of her March wrap-up post, which she shared on Easter Sunday, March 31. The two celebrities were having dinner with notable Filipino film director Irene Villamor.
“When like minds collide,” the Filipina actress wrote in the caption.
Villamor is widely recognized for her iconic films, including “Sid and Aya: Not A Love Story,” which Curtis topbilled along with TV host and actor Dingdong Dantes in 2018.
Curtis and Rosales first worked together in the film “Baler”, an official entry to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The movie, helmed by Mark Meily, won a total of 10 awards at the 34th MMFF Awards Night, including Best Picture, Best Actress for Curtis, and Best Director.
The film centers on the romance of Celso, a Filipino-Spanish soldier (portrayed by Rosales) and Feliza (played by Curtis), a daughter of a rebel commander. “Baler”’ is based on the year-long Siege of Baler in the Philippines.
