The Presidential Museum in Baguio carries many priceless collections of memorabilia, among them include the presidential attire, footwear, flags, and even busts sculpted in the likeness of the former chief executives.

It is similar to the Teus Museum in Manila.

Palace Social Secretary Bianca Zobel was quoted as saying that the opening of the Baguio Mansion House is expected to help the public so as to allow tourists to experience what happened behind closed doors inside the palace.

“We have noticed that every day, 500 tourists are taking pictures outside the mansion house, and on weekends, it reaches up to 2000,” Zobel said.

“So, we would like to open the doors where people can come inside and take pictures,” she added.

Likewise the government is set to open the Presidential Museum inside the palace.

“This is also very important in unification; we need to know about our history and our culture so that we feel one,” she said.

The Baguio Mansion House will be open from Tuesdays to Sundays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, the walk-ins are welcome, but one may conduct booking through the  Malacañang Heritage Tours website of social media.

There is no entrance fee, but will only allow 20 people at a time inside.
