SOUTH Korean boy group ATEEZ made another historic comeback in the global music scene with their 10th mini-album, “[GOLDEN HOUR Part.1].”
The mini-album has topped the iTunes chart in over 30 countries, making it one of the best-selling K-pop releases this year.
It also sold more than a million copies in less than a week, according to the Hanteo Chart. This was the third consecutive album for the group to reach this milestone.
ATEEZ previously surpassed a million first-week sales with albums “THE WORLD EP.2: OUTLAW” and “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL.”
[GOLDEN HOUR Part.1] was released last May 31, along with the music video for the lead track, “WORK.”
The mini-album has six tracks, including “Golden Hour,” “Blind,” “WORK,” “Empty Box,” “Shaboom,” and “Siren.”
ATEEZ will perform at Japan’s largest music festival, Summer Sonic, this August.
The group debuted in 2018 under KQ Entertainment, consisting of Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They made history as the first K-pop group to perform at Coachella 2024.
ATEEZ’s [GOLDEN HOUR Part. 1] is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via KQ Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment.
