FOLLOWING the break-up of Anthony Jennings and his non-showbiz girlfriend Jamela Villanueva, the latter posted a series of Instagram stories apparently exposing Jennings’s cheating allegation with co-star Maris Racal.
On late Tuesday night, Villanueva posted screenshots of Jennings and Rascal’s conversation–exposing the actor’s said cheating allegation with his co-star.

Villanueva and Jennings calling it quits
“I’ve been trying to hold myself together through everything that’s been happening. But after hearing all the things being said about me–about my character, my intentions, and even my family–I can’t stay silent any longer.” Villanueva wrote.
After being together for 7 years, Villanueva and Jennings called it quits after breaking up due to “personal issues.” This is disclosed by the actor after being asked by a celebrity reporter about the split during the conference for the action TV series “Incognito.”
In the interview, Jennings confirmed that he and his non-showbiz girlfriend had already split up months ago while making it clear that he and Maris Racal are only friends.
“Magkaibigan lang po kami, and sana matigil na rin ‘yung mga gano’ng issues,” Jennings said.
“It’s mainly me and Rico. Mainly me, I’m the issue.”
In July, Maris Racal confirmed her breakup with Rico Blanco when she was asked in the Star Magic Spotlight.
“I’m so scared, I’m really scared,” Racal emotionally told the media. “Ang dami kasing tanong about him and I am tired of smiling and nodding.”
“I’m so scared because If I announce it, it’s real,” she added.
Maris Racal and Rico Blaco’s relationship lasted for five years and according to her, the separation happened a few weeks back
“Rico and I, our universe is so beautiful. It was full of love, laughter and music and everything, spontaneity everything. Sa five years namin together, we were always on the same page. Always on the same page. I don’t know what happened to me. Maybe I turned to the next page, saw new perspective sa life. I had a vision of who I want to become, how I want to evolve. So curious about the world, and the truth is I am going through changes and alam naman natin na changes either good or bad and what I hate about change is it’s inevitable. Hindi mo siya matatakasan and wala ka nang ibang gagawin kung ‘di to face it and confront it,” she explained.
Racal didn’t give details on how the separation happened, stressing that the separation was polite. She also came to add that her “Can’t Buy Me Love” co-star Anthony Jennings was out of the picture.
“It’s mainly me and Rico. Mainly me, I’m the issue,” she said.
“The betrayal cuts deep.”
On Tuesday night, Jamela Villanueva came to post on her Instagram story a series of screenshots featuring the shared conversation between Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings.
Jamela expressed gratitude to Anthony for being honest about their breakup in her expose, adding that she kept quiet to shield Anthony “out of respect.”
She also voiced support for the MaThon love team and wished to protect her personal life amid all the hate towards her.
“When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both. I even chose to be supportive, despite the red flags I couldn’t ignore. I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep,” Jamela wrote in her post.

On the first post, Villanueva posted a picture of the conversation between the co-stars before the before their branch launch. She also noted that they were already staying in the same hotel on where the launch was happening.
In the screenshots, Anthony asked Maris, “Gusto mo pa ba?” with Maris replying with, “Sa next life na.” The actress also told him that they should delete messages.
When Jamela spoke with Anthony that same evening, he confided in her that he was having difficulties. He wrote in his messages, “Mahal kita tapos kailangan ko gawin ‘to. Parang naka pako ako sa pader.”

“He was telling me that he had to do it for work,” Jamela wrote.
“I’m not sure if you’re familiar with method acting, but this was something he kept emphasizing to me. He explained that he needed to make her feel loved and appreciated because she was going through something as well.” She added.
Jamela fully supported Anthony, saying it is because she believed in him and trusted him during that time.

Aside from the talks, Villanueva also shared a conversation made by Maris, texting Jennings, “That was so hot.”
“Context: ‘yung ‘that was hot’ nag-party sila niyan… I confronted Anthony about it and he told me na hinila daw siya sa CR ng girls and they started making out. I asked him why did he let her, he just said, ‘Ayoko lang maramdaman niya na parang ayaw ko siya kasi may trabaho kami bukas.'”

Additionally, Jam posted screenshots of the hour-long FaceTime call logs between Maris and Anthony. Nevertheless, she claimed that she chose to ignore it as Anthony reassured her that it was something he had to do “for work.”
Jam shared pictures of Maris and Anthony on the plane who appeared to be kissing in another Instagram story. Anthony’s attire mirrored what Maris shared on her Instagram story on her birthday in September, even though their faces were hidden.
“These were the photos that shattered my heart into pieces. This is the other side of the story—the photos that she posted in her story, where people started attacking me, saying that the photo was just ‘fan service’ and that I was overreacting. I even asked Anthony about it, and he brushed it off, saying it was nothing,” Villanueva wrote.

Jam expresses gratitude to Anthony for their years-long relationship
In the end of the IG stories, Jam expressed gratitude for the almost seven years they spent together to Anthony, whom she affectionately refers to by his second name, “Michael.”
Happiness was all I ever wanted for you, in our years of living together. I never imagined I have to let you go, but I did—so you could grow and find happiness on your own,” she wrote.

“It took me three long months to finally accept that I was just ignoring the reality of the situation. The sleepless nights, crying and anxiety attacks and sabotaging yourself—for those three months, I blamed myself for everything I thought, felt, and saw during that time,” she added.
“I allowed this to happen because I thought it was the best way to support them both. Most importantly, I trust my partner and her—as a woman,” she concluded.
