ACTRESS Andrea Brillantes has finally spoken on the rumors about her trip to Spain.
In a vlog that she posted last December 30, Brillantes discussed her solo trip to Spain, saying that she’d originally intended to go with her best friend, but went alone instead since their schedules never seemed to align.
“Experiencing solo travel had always been a dream of mine, so I decided that this was the perfect time to do it, kasi I needed this time for myself kasi may pinagdadaanan ako that time,” she explained.
She recounts how this was her first time doing something this extreme on her own, and she was understandably feeling rather anxious, even crying on the plane from her fear.
She added: “With what I was going through at that time, I felt all my emotions, all at once.”
The actress said she managed to overcome her worries in time, however, enjoying the beauty of the country despite being alone.
She spent the rest of the trip visiting different tourist destinations in Spain, enjoying the local cuisine, and discovering a new side of herself. She even learned how to commute while she was there, which isn’t something you can say for everyone.
Circulating rumors
Brillantes’s vlog was posted at a time wherein rumors about her and fellow actor Daniel Padilla had been circulating, so it is a possibility that this video was posted to clear this matter up.
Some accounts online posted photos that the two actors had shared to their Instagram accounts, pointing out similarities between the pictures of the two. One photo of Padilla’s, for example, featured a person reflected in a restaurant window that had the same bracelet as Brillantes.
The two also posted photos in similar locations, hence why people further assumed that they were actually together during the trip.
Following the breakup of Kathniel, people started to speculate that the beloved couple broke up after something happened between Brillantes and Padilla in Spain, especially since actress Sofia Andres posted a photo of a house in Spain with a diamond emoji on it, which in Tagalog is “brilyante,” hence why people assumed that this was about the aforementioned actress.
Andres also unfollowed Brillantes after the breakup, as did Bernardo and some of her other friends.
