AHOF to visit Manila for the first time for ‘Rendezvous’ fan concert

by Joanna Deala

IT seems that 2025 will be a busy year for the newly debuted South Korean boy group AHOF, as they are set to visit the home country of their Filipino member, JL Gaspar, next month.

Entertainment company Show Biz Town Inc. announced on Monday, July 14, that the nine-member boy group will hold their first-ever fan concert in the Philippines, “Rendezvous,” on August 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

“It is a special moment, and [we’re] so happy since this is our first time coming to the Philippines as a group,” said JL in a video invitation.

He continued, “This feels like a dream come true!”

Further details about the fan concert, including ticket prices and ticket selling dates, are yet to be unveiled, but AHOF said their Filipino fans can look forward to seeing “special performances” and creating “a lot of precious memories” with the boy group.

The fan concert announcement came more than a week after JL, Steven, Jeongwoo, Woongki, Shuaibo, Han, Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke officially debuted as AHOF members on July 1, with the release of their first mini-album “Who We Are.”

The album also includes songs: “The Little Star,” “The Universe,” “Incompleted,” “Cosmic Underdog,” and “AHOF.”

AHOF has promoted the title track “Rendezvous” in several South Korean music shows, bagging its third trophy from KBS’ “Music Bank” after besting K-pop girl group aespa’s “Dirty Work” with 7,941 points.

The K-pop act has also collaborated with several K-pop stars for the “Rendezvous” dance challenge on TikTok, including rapper Lee Youngji and Eric of THE BOYZ.

Other engagements

Before the Philippine fan concert, F&F Entertainment, AHOF’s record label, said the group will first hold a release event for their debut album in Tokyo and Osaka.

According to the Naver article shared by the entertainment agency, the event will be held at Dream Square Hall in Osaka on August 2 and Meguro Small and Medium Business Center Hall in Tokyo on August 9.

The report stated that fans can expect live performances of the songs from the “Who We Are” album.

AHOF will also attend the 2025 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) with other K-pop groups on September 20 at the Macao Outdoor Performance Venue.
