ANDAM na ba ka? Brace yourselves mga Bisaya at mga Bisaya at heart, because the newest Bisaya talk show will hit the biggest streaming platforms this July!
Last June 11, 2024, ABS-CBN Entertainment released the full trailer of their upcoming talk show, ‘Kuan On One’, on their official YouTube channel.
Melai Cantiveros – Francisco, one of the most beloved Bisaya personalities in the entertainment industry, is set to host the said talk show as its ‘KUANtie’.
Such a hosting project adds to Melai’s countless achievements and accolades as a veteran entertainer.
Several of which include her victory as the ‘Big Winner’ in ‘Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Double Up’ back in 2009, her eventual co-hosting gig in the same reality show later into her career, and her co-hosting of the morning talk show, ‘Magandang Buhay’, from 2016 until the present.
Melai also had a viral moment during the Asia Artist Awards (AAA), an annual Korean award show that held its filming in the Philippines last year, when she received the Best Actor Award for her role as Police Exec. Msgt. Criselda Kaptan in the film, ‘Ma’am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul’.
Her comical reaction and ridiculous acceptance speech tickled the hearts of Filipino and non-Filipino fans alike.No doubt, there is no better person for the job than Melai herself, as she always took pride in being Bisaya and in representing her people.
‘Kuan On One’ will feature bright stars such as Kim Chiu, Maymay Entrata, Christian Bables, BINI Colet, and BINI Aiah, among others.
The show will air on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and on iWantTFC this July 2, 2024.
