THE latest episode of Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale proved to be one of the season’s most electrifying installments yet. Episode 7 featured the much-awaited Lipsync Lalaparuza Slaysian Smackdown — a battle royale where queens faced off head-to-head, serving charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent onstage.
When the glitter settled, it was Brigiding who triumphed, outlasting five competitors in a fierce series of performances. Her victory earned her not only a second RuBadge this season but also the coveted Golden Balut, further solidifying her frontrunner status.
A Night of Drag Excellence
RepublicAsia was invited to the official live viewing party at Rampa Club in Quezon City, which brought together an all-star cast of Drag Race queens. Among the performers was Drag Race Philippines Season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole, who brought the house down with a lipsync of Cynthia Erivo’s Jump.
Season 2 standout Miss Jade So wowed the crowd with a pole-dance performance to Kehlani’s Folded, while current Slaysian Royale contender Viñas Deluxe delivered a haunting turn as “Nuno sa Feng Shui,” performing I Put A Spell On You.
Brigiding herself also took the stage ahead of her big moment on screen, belting Shirley Bassey’s This Is My Life, while Marina Summers, Drag Race Philippines Season 1 runner-up and Drag Race UK vs The World finalist, ignited the room with a fierce rendition of Diva by ART NO LOGIA.
Drag fans were also treated to a surprise performance from Season 3 winner Maxie, who joined forces with Original Pinoy Music (OPM) band Lola Amour.
Together, they performed the group’s hit Misbehave, which also made an appearance in the episode.
Brigiding: A Season Standout
The night didn’t end with the episode reveal. Brigiding’s win in the Lalaparuza was more than just a competition highlight; it was a showcase of her decade-long artistry.
From her beginnings in theater to her acclaimed performances at O-Bar and international drag stages, Brigiding has built a reputation for blending technical mastery with heart and authenticity.
“The art of lipsyncing is more than just knowing the words to a song,” Brigiding shared.
“It’s transforming a song into an experience. It’s about channeling emotion, storytelling through movement, and creating such a deep connection with the music that the audience feels every beat right along with you,” she added.
Her consistent high placements this season position her as one of the queens to watch, with momentum now firmly on her side.

As Slaysian Royale heads into its final stretch, the competition is tighter than ever — but Brigiding’s latest triumph makes a strong case for her as a serious contender for the crown.
