We always celebrate the people we love and cherish, they are who remind us that love is love, and everyone deserves to be seen and respected. June may be the only month we dedicate to Pride, but it is every day that we honor the courage, love, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. The community is joined by allies who see and support their rights just as everyone else’s. Different organizations in the Philippines show up and join in support and celebration every June for Pride Month.

Last June 25, 2025, Manila Water Company and fellow MWSS Complex Agencies proudly took part in the 2025 Pride Walk and Culmination Program, a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of love, unity, and inclusivity held within the MWSS Compound. This year the event, with the theme “Love Flows Through All” brought together members of the LGBTQIA+ community, advocates, and allies for a powerful display of solidarity and self-expression.
The walk of Pride
The Pride Walk began with an early morning assembly at the MWSS Multi-Level Parking Area, where participants claimed their free Manila Water Company (MWC) Pride shirts. Even those who missed registration were warmly welcomed to join, many arriving in their most colorful and expressive attire, further adding to the festive atmosphere.
The walk which concluded at the LWUA Complex opened the main program featuring live performances, gathering of merchant booths, and the high spirits of the community to complete the event.

Some of the most powerful moments of the event came from keynote speeches by Henrick Chiu, Chief Future Officer of Republicasia and acclaimed TV producer, and Jigs Mayuga, celebrated makeup artist and passionate LGBTQIA+ advocate. Their compelling messages on visibility, equality, and the ongoing fight for inclusive spaces deeply resonated with the audience. Their presence served as a strong reminder of the event’s core mission: to celebrate diversity and foster acceptance in every corner of society.
The program concluded with cheers, music, and a collective reaffirmation of the values that unite us. Guests and participants were invited to share their highlights on social media using the official event hashtags #MWCPride2025 and #KatubigPride.
