AFTER representing the Philippines at the 2025 ROUND Festival, P-pop boy group 1st One will showcase Filipino talent once again on the international stage as a performer at the Music Matters Live event in Singapore.
The six-member act is the only featured P-pop group at the Music Matters Live event, scheduled for September 27 at Clarke Quay.
This is part of the 20th anniversary celebration of the All That Matters Festival and Conference, an annual event that gathers music enthusiasts, industry professionals, and artists in the music industry across Asia and beyond. It will run from September 29 to October 1, 2025.
“We have just been informed by the show organizers that 1st One will perform on the Music Matters Live’s Main Stage on September 27, that’s why we might miss another event here in the Philippines,” 1st One leader Ace said in a press statement.
Meanwhile, Alpha expressed his gratitude for having another opportunity that will allow the boy group to “connect with a diverse audience, share our unique sound, and promote the P-pop genre globally.”
Aside from 1st One, J shared that several Filipino artists will join them at the Music Matters Live event, including singer-actor James Reid, content creator Mikey Bustos, and singer-songwriter and producer Fern. Gen Z Singapore singer-songwriter Mila Bea will also grace the event.
“But for P-pop, kami lang po talaga,” shared the 1st One rapper.
The announcement about 1st One’s upcoming performance in Singapore comes after their successful performance at the 2025 ROUND Festival in June at Zepp Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, where they debuted their latest single “MYV (Map Your Vibe).” The song was made available on music streaming platforms on August 1.
Debuted in 2020, 1st One is known for its songs “DITO,” “Shout Out,” “Wala Ng Iba,” “Paalam Na,” and “ALAM MO BA.”
