GCash suffered an outage on Monday, making it difficult for users of the financial application to access its services.

The app acknowledged the problem in a statement posted on its social media platforms.

Services were fully restored on Tuesday morning as it apologized to its customers for the inconvenience.

It’s not the first time that GCash has experienced glitches.

On May 9, GCash temporarily halted its services after unauthorized withdrawals from GCash accounts were reportedly transferred to accounts held by the Asia United Bank (AUB) and East West Banking Corp. (EWB).

The National Privacy Commission concluded that the unauthorized fund transfers were the result of a “meticulous phishing scheme.”

GCash said they had adjusted the e-wallets of all affected users.
