by Kiko Cueto

NEED to do a transaction using your digital wallet?

Better do it quickly as digital wallet provider GCash advised their patrons that they will not be able to access their respective accounts on select hours on March 20 and 21.

According to an advisory from GCash, the app is set to undergo maintenance “so some services will be unavailable.”

Among the following time-slots and dates include: March 20, 12:01 a.m. – 2 a.m.; March 21, 12:01 a.m. –  6 a.m.

“Please plan your transactions accordingly,” GCash said.

GCash —  which had over 79 million registered users as of May 2023 — is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Inc.).

It has a partnership with Globe Telecom Inc., the Ayala Corp., and Ant Financial.
