Basically, the trending satire class is about ‘anti–jealousy’ in a relationship. TikTok is now dominated with various relationship concerns of self-proclaimed, ‘Jak Roberto University’ students who seek some advice on how to be like Prof. Jak for not being jealous despite having a partner who is romantically involved with someone else.

The #AntiSelosClass and #JakRobertoUniversity in several TikTok contents have already garnered million views, which really made netizens and Gen Zs burst into laughter as they can relate to a given POVs of TikTok users.

Along with the trending “My All” by Mariah Carey, netizens point out a scenario, then start grooving along with the dance craze, inserting random clips of Jak Roberto’s dance who seem not bothered—maybe, with a purpose to cover up the jealousy they are feeling.

Again, because they claimed that they are taking the Anti-Selos Class.

TikTok user @david_clavinn shared this funny video of his POV, stating “hinatid ako ng bff ko” before dancing along with Prof. Jak’s sexy dance. The TikTok video is now at 4.4 million views.

Another post by @sanjuanpj01 showed a POV about his partner being approached by someone, captioned, “kalma lang daw sabi sa discussion kanina ni prof jak”.

This TikTok video has now reached 2.8 million views.

However, despite numerous POVs and relatable jealousy moments circulating the platform and reaching out to the popular Anti-Selos Class, how does Prof. Jak personally give his famous one-liner sarcasm advice?

JRU: Mission, Vision and Core Values

Professor Jak’s mission, and vision is for you to not get jealous!

The number one ethic at this university? Have a mindset that will lead you to a stronger and healthier relationship with your significant other…

How? Do it in the Jak Roberto way.

Prof. Jak posted on TikTok his “Face to face anti selos class”, with him, giving relationship advice to his co-celebrities who have love problems such as “Prof. Jak, may problema ako. Kasi yung asawa ko nawawala, na-scam kasi kami. Tapos noong hinanap ko, nakita kong may kasamang babae. Anong gagawin ko?” (Prof. Jak, I have a problem. We got scammed and my husband was missing, and then when I tried to look for him, I saw him with another woman. What would I do?). Then calmly speaking, he answers “Baka naman pinsan nya ‘yun” (Maybe, it’s just his cousin), before performing his famous sexy dance, showing how basic he handles the problem.

User @MarkComiso on tiktok, posted a one-on-one Anti-Selos tutorial with Professor Jak telling him “May naghatid sa kanyang iba” (Someone took her to her home), and his one-line advice? “Baka naman taxi lang(Maybe it’s just a taxi).

On a recent visit of the actor at the Jose Rizal University, a TikTok post by user @gen_silverio, a student asked him “Ano ‘yung masasabi ninyo sa mga nagseselos na walang karapatan?” (What would you advise to those people who got jealous even if they don’t have the right to be jealous?) the actor answered, “Baka kailangan lang ng label ‘yan(Maybe, that needs a label)

Netizens couldn’t hide their enjoyment as they relate to Professor Jak’s advice, because what he answers is definitely just gaslighting—a term used to manipulate someone with the power of questioning and reasoning—and not serious love advice, in order for the relationship to work out.

Reiterating the fact that Prof. Jak’s advice is just sarcasm, this isn’t far from reality that lots of people in a relationship deal with their love problems by gaslighting themselves that everything is okay—even if it’s definitely not.

Evidently, the mission, vision, and core values of Anti-Selos enrollees are being followed with their good moral and right conduct! Thanks to the mighty Prof. Jak.
