BTS’ j-hope to star in solo Disney+ docu

TIME to get to know j-hope better. 

j-hope, one of the members of the award-winning KPop boy group Bangtan Sonyeondan, or BTS, will be releasing his solo documentary on Disney+ on February 17.

The documentary, called j-hope IN THE BOX,  will give viewers a glimpse of his side that has never been seen before. 

According to the BTS member, this documentary will feature many candid moments from the making of his well-loved solo album Jack In The Box and the exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of his preparations for his Lollapalooza appearance in August 2022.

“This documentary will tell you stories that I have never shared before,” said j-hope in a Disney+ Korea announcement video.

Who is j-hope? 

j-hope is Jung Ho-seok, who is part of BTS’ rapper line.

Fans admire him for his trap style rapping and stellar dancing skills. He is also one of the well-rounded members of BTS who can sing, dance, and rap.

BTS’ main dancer released his first solo mixtape Hope World in 2018 under Big Hit Entertainment and was later followed by his collaboration with American singer Becky G called Chicken Noodle Soup in 2019.

In 2020, he released his solo album called Jack In The Box which symbolizes his growth as an artist.

Aside from the j-hope documentary, Disney+ announced earlier that it will also be releasing never-before-seen moments featuring BTS in an exclusive mini documentary series called BTS Monuments: BEYOND THE STAR.

The said docuseries promises to unveil the story behind the growth of one of the most successful KPop groups in history.

BTS has been in the KPop industry since 2013 and has earned both domestic and international recognition for its members’ magnificent performances and chart-topping discographies.

The band is currently on hiatus to make way for the members to fulfill their military duties, starting with the oldest member, Jin.

But before this, the members held a free concert in Busan, South Korea to thank fans for their relentless support for the group.

Aside from j-hope, the other members of the seven-piece group are Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. It is famous for its top hits Spring Day (2017), DNA (2018), Dynamite (2020), and Butter (2021).
