In conjunction with the 69th Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference (ANMSEC), the 3-day event will focus on nurturing the youth to be the new guardians of the mineral industry.

The congress will gather around 200 Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Geology students from different universities in the country.

With this year’s theme, “Constellations of Change: Navigating Through a Better Future”, the delegates will engage in various activities tackling responsible mining and resource management.

For sustainability and advocacy efforts, the event will hold the “Cosmic Grove: a Tree Planting Project” and Minerals Industry Parade.

Delegates will also have an opportunity for an industry immersion with a visit to the ANMSEC Exhibit.
