In partnership with the DOT Regional offices and key private stakeholders and associations, the app also provides contact information on DOT-accredited travel agencies, tour operators, and tour guides, which users can contact directly.
It also offers a list of DOT-accredited accommodations, activities, and must-try local cuisines across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The launch of Travel Philippines was part of the government’s step into digitization to boost the country’s tourism industry. With weekly updates on DOT accredited facilities, services and attractions, there is always something new to discover in app and users can find more reasons to #LoveThePhilippines.
