TOM Rodriguez “stitched” his reaction video to his cover of Bruno Mars’s “Versace on the Floor” that he posted last February 22.
The Kapuso actor listened carefully to his song cover to prove to netizens that he did great with his cover, but he came to the realization halfway through the video that it was getting more awkward and said “Oo nga, noh?”
He pretended to worry and called for help on how to delete or change the privacy of his TikTok video to “only me” to netizens and his mom as well.
“Sarili laban sa sarili,” user @kiarorrr said.
Netizens also compared his singing voice to Mickey Mouse after the video uploaded by a user went viral on X (formerly Twitter) and joked that it was AI-generated that made him sound like the famous cartoon character.

“Sinasagad mo pa talaga pasensya ko”, another user (@chr.lne) said which Tom replied to saying “Wait lang ha”.
Some netizens also joked that he should cover his mouth next instead of posting another song cover.
Singer-songwriter Michael Pangilinan also left a comment on the actor’s video “Lakas trip ng mga nasa comment section e” which they had a good laugh about. “Umamin ka na nga na ako ang ghost singer mo ng tumigil sila”, Tom replied.

Tom recently made his comeback in acting after he took a break from Philippine showbiz in 2022. He was one of the cast of a ‘Magpakailanman’ episode last March.
“Not a cover po. Reaction video po. Feeling cute, might delete later… pero hindi yung app, sorry” Tom captioned his post.
The stitched reaction video currently has 729.6k views, 44.3k likes, 1,780 comments, 1,564 saves, and 6,070 shares, while his ‘Versace on the Floor’ song cover has 3.2M views, 113.9k likes, 13.5k comments, 6,714 saves, and 52.6k shares as of writing.
