BILLBOARD recently launched the Top 50 chart for the most popular songs on TikTok in the United States.

The American music and entertainment magazine said the weekly TikTok Billboard Top 50 was ”based on creations, video views, and user engagement” on TikTok, the video sharing platform popular among millennials and Gen Zs.

Sexyy Red’s SkeeYee topped the list as of September 16, followed by Doja Cat’s Paint the Town Red, Taylor Swift’s August, Greg Cipes, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Tara Strong & Hynden Walch’s Go, and Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves’ I Remember Everything.

Completing the Top 10 are Ice Spice’s Deli, Odetari & 9lives’ I Love You Hoe, NLE Choppa’s It’s Getting Hot, Charlie Wilson featuring T.I.’s I’m Blessed, and Dazz Band’s Let It Whip.

Swift’s Cruel Summer, Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version), Anti-Hero, Bejeweled, and Cardigan also made it to the Top 50.

”We see a clear opportunity to recognize the way music discovery on TikTok is shaping popular culture and are proud to offer this tool to the industry, while offering brands a new way to engage with music fans at scale. You’re not no. 1 until you’re no. 1 on Billboard,” said Mike Van, president of Billboard.

The chart will be updated weekly on Thursday morning (Friday in the Philippines).
