This local coffee shop is ‘one of the world’s most IG-worthy’ cafe and here’s why

by Joyce Remo

LOCAL coffee shop Coffee Project was recently named one of the 50 most Instagrammable cafes in the world by a travel group.

Big Seven Travel website ranked the local coffee shop in the 32nd place, it said that Coffee Project is an “oasis of calm and beauty” with its “soft lightning and lush greenery.”

This makes Coffee Project the only Philippine-based cafe to make it to their  list, along with other countries including Italy, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

The ‘Best Of’ lists of the website were based on editorial opinions and experiences, previous critic reviews, online customer reviews, location and accessibility, online presence, consistency, atmosphere, service, value for money, and presentation.

Meanwhile, the home-grown coffee shop is owned by former senator and businessman Manny Villar under the AllValue Corp, the retail arm of the Villar Group of Companies.

Established in 2014, it opened its first branch in a mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa. This chain of coffee shops now has 52 branches nationwide. Its rustic yet vibrant mood also sets it apart from other coffee shops in the country.

Coffee Project also prides itself for its versatility. While most customers visit the cafe to hangout with friends and family as they enjoy their beverages, it is also conducive for working people who want a comfy place to fulfill their work-related tasks and projects.
