by Joanna Deala

SURPRISES from Taylor Swift just keep on coming, but Swifties aren’t complaining.

On Friday, the 34-year-old pop superstar unveiled another detail about her forthcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department,” and it’s a new version featuring a bonus track called “The Bolter.”

She dropped the news in a social media post, showing the alternate cover of her new album. It features the phrase, “You don’t get to tell me about sad.”

“File Name: The Bolter,” the singer-songwriter wrote in the caption.

The first version has the phrase “I love you, it’s ruining my life” on its album cover. It features a bonus track called “The Manuscript.”

Swift also revealed the alternate album cover during the continuation of her headline-making Eras Tour in Australia, making the crowd erupt with screams.

In a clip shared by a TikTok user, Swift could be heard talking about “The Tortured Poets Department,” which she said reminded her of how important songwriting is to her life.

“Tortured Poets is an album that I think more than any of my albums that I’ve ever made, I needed to make it. It was really a lifeline for me,” she told the audience.

She continued, “Just the things I was going through, the things I was writing about, it kind of reminded me of why songwriting is something that actually gets me through my life.”

Swift emphasized, “I’ve never had an album where I needed songwriting more than I needed it on Tortured Poets.”
