THE PHILIPPINES may have failed to make it to the list of Asian countries included in the ongoing sixth concert tour of Taylor Swift, but her Filipino fans continue to celebrate her musical journey.
While several Pinoy Swifties were lucky to live their wildest dreams of seeing the American singer-songwriter perform live, others were happy jamming to Swift’s discography with other fans through attending various events organized by the “Cruel Summer” singer’s Philippine fan base such as a listening party and an album launch event.
There’s also a Pinoy version of “The Eras Tour,” headlined by none other than the country’s preeminent impersonator of the 14-time Grammy winner, Taylor Sheesh.
Taylor Sheesh, who channeled her inner Swift through lip-sync performances, first made headlines in 2023 when she held her “The Eras Tour-inspired” show in a shopping mall in Quezon City, which was attended by thousands of Filipino Swifties.
The event did not only reach local news but also international headlines.
‘The Errors Tour’
Just recently, Taylor Sheesh caught the attention of Australian Swifties as she got featured in an Australian morning show “Today” for staging her version called “The Errors Tour” at the Federation Square in Melbourne.
Well, people should expect to hear more about Taylor Sheesh as she is bringing her show to Singapore!
On X (formerly Twitter), the Pinoy drag sensation said that she will perform at the Hard Rock Cafe on March 16 at 10:30 p.m. and March 17 at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for the first day of the show were sold out already, she said.
“To all my fellow Swifties in SG, you’re unbelievable, because even though I haven’t posted about it yet, Day 1 is already SOLD OUT!!” Taylor Sheesh wrote, expressing her gratitude to her fans.
Meanwhile, tickets for the second night are selling fast according to the show’s organizer Jeans Tonic.
Based on the ticketing website, prices for Taylor Sheesh’s show range from $52.50 for standard tickets to $125 for VIP tickets.
Taylor Sheesh is one of Filipino well-known personalities who have attended “The Eras Tour.”
While in Australia, she took the chance to see the “Anti-Hero” singer in the flesh by attending the Australia stop of the “The Eras Tour.” She is also going to be present at its Singapore leg next month.
‘The Erase Tour’
Taylor Sheesh is not the only drag performer who has her version of “The Eras Tour.”
Enter popular Pinoy drag queen Lady Gagita who is going overseas for her “The Taylor Shet: The Erase Tour” in Singapore. This will be her international performance, which will coincide with Swift’s Singapore concert dates.
“Making my first overseas show outside Philippines, join me as I bring you our spectacular show The Erase Tour with new setlist and costumes for the first time in Singapore,” Lady Gagita wrote in an Instagram post.
“The Taylor Shet: The Erase Tour” will take place on March 9 at Beast & Butterflies at Social M Hotel.
Ticket prices for Lady Gagita’s show ranges from $38 to $75. These include various benefits such as two Swift-themed cocktails, a 1:1 photo op, and a limited edition Taylor Shet merchandise, depending on the attendee’s ticket tier.
Tickets for the show went on sale on February 16.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Lady Gagita announced more dates for her “The Taylor Shet: The Erase Tour.” There will be another show in Singapore, to be held on March 8, but the venue has not been announced yet.
The drag performer will also perform in Tuguegarao City and Santiago City in the Philippines, as well as in Hong Kong and Thailand.
