According to the artist, the song attempts to synthesize all the humbling things she learned during her early twenties.

She also shared that the track is heavily inspired by Joni Mitchell’s performance of “Both Sides Now” at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival.

“I came across that performance and was so unbelievably moved by it, it brought me to tears immediately. I felt struck by some lightning bolt of inspiration and just ran to my studio and picked up my guitar and flowed the words to 24,” NIKI said.

‘24’ ushers a new sonic era for NIKI, combining all the things that have made her an international favorite – brilliant lyrics and outstanding melodic sensibilities – with a musical palette that sounds like home.

The new track is co-produced by Grammy-nominated producer Tyler Chester, James Krausse, and NIKI herself.

NIKI is known for her phenomenal hit songs, such as ‘lowkey’, ‘La La Lost You’, ‘Backburner’, and ‘Ocean & Engines’.

She recently performed at Mall of Asia Arena last September of last year as part of her sold-out ‘Nicole World Tour’, spanning across North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

24’ is now available on all music streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music.
