This was what actor Matteo Guidicelli wrote in his Instagram post on Thursday as he officially returned as a GMA artist.
Guidicelli shared moments from his contract signing, beginning from his preparations to the event to finally shaking hands with the network’s executives after he inked the contract.
Along with the actor were GMA Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong; Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; First Vice President of Public Affairs Nessa Valdellon; and First Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso.
Guidicelli, in GMA’s own Instagram video where the network welcomed the return of the actor, said it felt “incredible” to be a Kapuso.
“I’m very excited to embark [on] this new journey with Public Affairs in GMA and to let the Filipino story shine and to represent the Filipino people [in the] best way that we can altogether,” he said in his speech.

GMA roots
This is not the first time Guidicelli will be working with GMA. Early in his showbiz career, he became part of GMA’s noontime variety show SOP Fully Charged as a host and performer. He also played a guest role in romance drama All My Life in 2009 in GMA before he transferred to ABS-CBN in 2010.
He worked with TV-5 and was one of the hosts in its noontime show Tropang LOL, which recently went off air after two years.
Future projects
The actors’ fans took to Twitter to congratulate him, saying that they are looking forward to his new journey with GMA.
Excited to see more of Guidicelli on screen, this Twitter user even suggested a few actresses who he thinks can be paired with the actor for his upcoming projects.
As thrilled as his fans is Guidicelli’s wife, popstar royalty Sarah Geronimo, who thinks her husband “fits in” with GMA Public Affairs, the actor told GMA’s Nelson Canlas.
According to Canlas’s report, Guidicelli will join GMA’s flagship morning show Unang Hirit.
Valdellon said that the actor will also be doing documentary specials and starring as one of the main characters of the upcoming series, The Black Rider.
