by Kiko Cueto

A CRIMINAL wanted for rape failed to elude arresting officers even as he tried to conceal his identity via a makeover and a change of identity.

Mark Bianzon, who is wanted for rape charged was arrested in Valenzuela City.

Bianzon attempted to change his appearance and even adopted a new identity, when he escaped from a police station in Camarines Norte.

He changed the color of his hair and the way he dressed and even took a new attitude of being shy and hiding his features.

The suspect even went as far as changing his movements and making fake identification cards.

“Nagpakulay siya ng buhok, tapos naka-hoodie siya. Nag-assume siya ng bagong identity. Gumawa na siya ng fake IDs,” PNP-NCR spokesperson Police Colonel Eunice Salas said.

He was arrested after authorities tracked him down when they discovered he was going to meet his wife at People’s Park in Valenzuela.

“Ang sinundan natin, asawa nitong takas. Bago makipagkita ito, dun na siya na-entrap,” said Salas.

Another rape suspect, this time in San Juan City, was arrested.

He was wanted to raping his live-in partner’s young daughter.

The suspect’s partner, who served as the complainant in the case, told police how the suspect took advantage of her child.

“Pareho silang housekeeping sa isang hotel, so nagkataon ang nanay pang gabi, at tatay pang umaga. So pag off niya sa trabaho, sila lang ang naiiwan ng biktima,” Police Colonel Allan Reglos, San Juan City Police Chief said.
