Legarda Flyover to be partially closed from July 6 to Nov. 6

by Kiko Cueto

ATTENTION motorists!

The Department of Public Works and Highways announced that they will partially close down the Legarda Flyover in Manila for repairs.

This will run from July 6 to Nov. 6, 2024.

In their Facebook post, the DPWH had said that they would replace 19 units for the damaged expansion joints coming in the flyover.

“The expansion joints of the westbound lane heading to Legarda will be the first to require partial closure or half width of the whole lanes for replacement,” the DPWH post said.

“While the same procedure will be applied to the other half of the lanes upon their completion, as well as the eastbound lanes going to Magsaysay Boulevard,” they added.

They advised motorists to look for alternative routes, as traffic is expected to be heavy during the repair period.

Lanes will be opened as they are completed.
