LANY drops fourth single off upcoming album

by Joshua Gerona

Multi-platinum pop rock band LANY have unveiled a new single entitled Home Is Where The Hurt Is.

It paves the way for the impending arrival of the group’s forthcoming album, I Really Really Hope So, releasing on September 29th

Home Is Where The Hurt Is unfolds as an emotionally charged vulnerable ballad. Soft piano underscores delicate vocal delivery as the track culminates on the reflective refrain, “We both know our broken hearts deserve this, ‘cause home is where the hurt is.

In the accompanying visual, frontman Paul Klein finds himself chained to a piano as it pulls him down a road. As the tension increases, the evocative clip seamlessly evokes the track’s introspective mood on-screen.

Last month, the band premiered the third single off I Really Really Hope So, XXL. The latter has generated over 2 million Spotify streams and 942K YouTube views on the music video.

XXL followed the recent fan favorite Alonica, which by far has gathered 4.6 million Spotify streams and counting.

They initially set the stage for the album with Love At First Fight. The music video now has over 1.2M YouTube views and the song itself has over 6 million streams on Spotify alone.

Additionally, the band released Love At First Fight (Hopeless), a stripped down version of their first release from I Really Really Hope So

Following the success of the First The Moon, Then The Stars: A Tour Before A World Tour which spanned Asia, LANY will embark on the first leg of their The I Really Really Hope So World Tour on October 29 beginning in Oslo, Norway at Rockefeller Music Hall.

The tour will run throughout Europe/UK, wrapping on November 19 at London’s Eventim Apollo.
