Lady Gaga slays Wednesday dance

by Athena Yap

NO WAY!

Lady Gaga is trending online after she danced the viral iconic gothic moves of Netflix’s Wednesday in a video that she uploaded on Tiktok last Thursday.

Lady Gaga was in costume as she recreated the moves popularized by Jenna Ortega, who stars in the hit Netflix show.

She was seen grooving along to her own song “Bloody Mary,” which was played on Episode 4 of the series, where Wednesday attended the Rave N’ Dance at Nevermore Academy in a gothic costume.

Wednesday showed off never-before-seen choreography that captured the watchers attention.

Fans were thrilled to watch the Hollywood popstar’s moves, and even Netflix reposted her video with a caption that read: “Mother Monster has arrived.”

The Wednesday Addams Twitter account also expressed its approval of Lady Gaga’s dance.

“I see you doing my dance moves to @LadyGaga’s Bloody Mary. I understand she is followed by little monsters. I approve,” it tweeted.

Lady Gaga exchanged and quoted the tweet and said, “Slay Wednesday! You’re welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here).”

Since the Wednesday series was released in November, it has been continuously gaining popularity and praise worldwide.

People have also done their own version of the megahit dance.

Ortega has also been praised for the dance, especially since she choreographed the moves herself.
