Korean-American singer Eric Nam is open for SB19 collab

EYES here, A’TIN! Eric Nam has something to say to Filipino Boy Group, SB19.

Following his successful show in the Philippines, Korean-American singer Eric Nam is looking at the possibility of doing a collaboration with Filipino artists, particularly SB19. 

Nam admittedly said he is fond of the P-pop group’s hit song, GENTO, which was released on May 19, as the singer applauded SB19’s music video  which he found interesting, saying it is  “fun music.”

“I just saw that. They’re like a gold mine, doing things in a gold mine. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting.’ They have some really fun music,” said Nam.

The singer also stated that he looks forward to diving deeper into Filipinos’ pop culture.

Nam’s Manila Encounters

During his stay in the country, Nam has also bonded with multi-awarded Kapuso singer Christian Bautista.

The Korean singer complimented Asia’s Romantic Balladeer as “incredibly nice and gracious” spending some time over a dinner.

Having his fifth time visiting Manila, Nam also praised his Filipino fans, calling them as his “beshy.”

“They’re very kind, very warm-hearted, and whenever I’m here I can feel the love and so it’s nice to be back,” he stated.

The famous singer is in the midst of promoting his album titled House on a Hill following his There and back again World Tour in November 2022. 

Nam started his singing career with his mini albums named Cloud 9 in 2013, followed by Interview in 2016, Honestly in 2018, Before We Begin in 2019, The Other Side in 2020, and There and Back Again in 2022.

Some of his popular hits include Everything sucks  with 46, 587, 901 streams on Spotify, Have We Met Before, Love Die Young, Runaway, and I Don’t Know You Anymore.
