FORMER Filipino actor Jiro Manio got featured in an episode of “Pinoy Pawnstar” as he sold his Gawad Urian Best Actor trophy.

In the January 2 episode of “Pinoy Pawnstar,” Boss Toyo featured Jiro Manio as he sold the Urian trophy given to him for his “Magnifico” performance in 2004.

The former star initially intended to sell the trophy for Php 500,000 but Boss Toyo explained that if he were to buy the trophy at that price, he would have to consider the buyers who might like to purchase the product in the future.

Boss Toyo made a counter-offer to buy his trophy for Php 50,000 but the two settled for Php 75,000 instead.

In the show, Manio shared that his sibling told him that Boss Toyo planned to establish a museum. Manio said he hoped to be part of the section of former celebrities who received an award.

Boss Toyo expressed the respect he held for Manio, believing that the former young actor made a significant contribution to the Filipino film industry.

Mamio last appeared on the GMA series titled “Little Star” and in the film “Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last Na To)” in December 2010.
