Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador is set to star with Thai actor Win Metawin in the upcoming movie Under Parallel Skies.
This was confirmed by the leads themselves in an announcement video released by Squared Studios last Tuesday, July 18.
“We are so excited to announce to you guys Under Parallel Skies,” Metawin said in the video.
“To be directed by Sigrid Bernardo. We are very very excited to share this with you very soon,” Salvador said.
At the end they both said “Abangan” and “Coming soon” in Thai.
The movie follows the story of a man struggling with a bitter past. As he moves on with his life, he suddenly discovers that the woman he is currently in love with is connected to that past.
The two have already started shooting the movie in Hong Kong.
Lead stars
Metawin rose to fame through the hit Thai series “2gether: The Series” in 2020 and “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers” in 2021. To date, Under Parallel Skies is his first international movie.
Salvador meanwhile started off in the hit Kapamilya romantic-comedy series Be Careful With My Heart in 2012. She went on to do other projects including “The Killer Bride” in 2019 and “Darna” just last year.
The actress has a son, 2-year-old Baby Jude with ex-boyfriend Markus Paterson.
