I Can Fix it (No Really I Can): Taylor Swift’s wardrobe malfunction during her concert

by RepublicAsia

“Only bought this dress so I could take it off.” Taylor Swift proves that she’s an ultimate performer after she handled a little wardrobe malfunction which almost led to a technical issue.

During her Eras Tour at Stockholm, Sweden on May 19, the global pop star said to her audience that a piece of the sound equipment she was wearing has “come undone.”

In a Tiktok clip, Swift had said “talk among yourselves” to the crowd walking towards her piano and unwrapped her ombré blue dress, revealing the sparkly gold bra and black bottom as she exhibited for The Tortured Poets Department set minutes prior.

While struggling to fix the sound device on her outfit, a crew member appeared to help her. After the incident, Swift resumed her performance as if nothing had happened.

Some fans who attended the concert were surprised by the unexpected dress removal of the singer.

“Oh, is she changing?” says a concert goer overheard in the clip.

Netizens also express their reactions in the comment section of the video.

“Even when there’s a malfunction, she’s adorable”

“She handled it like a pro”

“Our girl rocks”

This isn’t the first wardrobe accident that the singer has managed. During her concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Swift’s high heel broke during the opening of the show. But as an expert she is, she continued her performance while balancing on her toes.

Swift also dealt with stage equipment malfunctions and rain-related piano issues in which she was once forced to run offstage rather than be covered beneath the stage.

The singer will then spend the rest of the summer touring throughout Europe following her three-hour-plus Eras Tour performance in Portugal on May 24 and 25. She will make her way back to the United States and Canada in October for a second leg of her tour.
