FOLLOWING the Military Discharge of BTS Jin, fans are then again rejoiced when Despicable Me 4’s official movie account on X (@Minions) posted a teaser video tagging BTS. The video shows the minions pasting a huge poster on a wall with black, yellow, and purple colors with hearts and the words: BTS and DM4 showing.

There are speculations that the video is teasing a possible collaboration between the two; words say that BTS will be on the soundtrack.

However since most of the members are still on their military duties, fans continue to theorize about the possible collaboration between the two. Moreover, some fans have dissected the film trailer of Despicable Me 4 and saw that the character voiced by Joey King, named Poppy Prescott, is a fan of BTS.

This was concluded when the fans saw the BTS Butter Poster in the background of Poppy’s room and her purple phone with the BTS logo on the back.

The thought of having a full-blown ARMY animated character in the mainstream media made everyone beyond excited with the showing of the film.

The fans have been resurfacing several memes, photos, and videos that show some kind of connection between the film and the group (a photo of Jungkook in a minion costume is being posted online over and over again for laughs by the ARMYS).

Despite being in the military, it is a known fact that BTS continued to release content even if it’s not as much as it used to. An example of this is RM’s newly released album: Right Place, Wrong Person with ‘Come Back to Me’ as his single.

The album has 10 tracks that RM prepared before he enlisted in the military. Jungkook also released a single last June 7 entitled ‘Never Let Go’. Like RM, Jungkook has prepared this single before enlisting.

With this in mind, the fans are definitely looking forward to the probable inclusion of the boy band in the film; may it be a song, a full album, a cameo, a set of merchandise, or just easter eggs that the fans will be looking through while watching the movie in the theater.

One thing is for sure: whatever the project may be between the two, ARMYs will be lining up in the theaters to get a glimpse of BTS with the minions.
