THERE’S probably no “perfect CongViynation (combination)” for YouTube stars Cong TV and Viy Cortez other than them becoming husband and wife.

Cong, whose real name is Lincoln Velasquez, and Viy took their longtime relationship to the next level as they exchanged their wedding vows at the L’ Annunziata Parish Church in Muntinlupa City on Monday, June 17.

The newlywed couple was joined by their family, the Team Payaman, and other friends in the country’s digital landscape, based on the photos shared by Nice Print Photo on Instagram.

Viy dazzled at her wedding with her fully crystallized bridal gown by fashion designer Leo Almodal.

Cong, on the other hand, looked dashing with his black-and-white suit by fashion designer Francis Libiran.

Their wedding entourage were clad in silver suits and gowns.

Among the guests were content creators Alodia Gosiengfiao, Alex Gonzaga, and Dr. Alvin Francisco, also known as Doc Alvin.

On Facebook, Gosiengfiao congratulated Cong and Viy by posting a photo of their first kiss as husband and wife.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga and her husband Mikee Morada served as godparents of the newlywed.

“We are all very happy for the two of you!!!!” she said. “Enjoy married life mga inaanak!”

The wedding ceremony was held more than a year after Cong and Viy got engaged in November 2022. They welcomed their son Zeus Emmanuel, whom they fondly call “Kidlat,” in 2021.

Last week, the YouTube stars shared several photos during the “pamamanhikan” of Cong’s family to Viy’s. “Pamamanhikan” is a pre-wedding Filipino tradition where the families of the bride and groom meet each other.

Netizens react

On Instagram, Viy shared two photos from their wedding ceremony: one showed her standing in the aisle, while the other showed Cong getting emotional.

“No more kapitbahay yes to asawa,” jested Viy.

Netizens then filled the comment section of her post with their congratulatory messages.

Among them were celebrities Dani Barretto and Angelica Panganiban, and fellow content creators Bella Racelis, Michelle Dy, Mimiyuuuh, Charuth, Mika Salamanca, Bea Borres, and Kimpoy Feliciano.
