SEVERAL eagle-eyed netizens have noticed that there was something missing in Catriona Gray’s Instagram (IG) page: her engagement photos with Sam Milby.
The couple announced their engagement in February 2023 via IG, where they shared on their respective accounts a photo of them holding coffee cups with labels “Mr. Milby” and “Future Mrs. Milby.” An engagement ring could also be seen on Gray’s left hand.
It can be recalled that the beauty queen’s caption was, “Living in an answered prayer with my best friend. I love you, fiancé.”
Meanwhile, the photo can still be found on Milby’s Instagram page, as of writing.
Gray and Milby were among the celebrity couples who became the subject of split rumors, after netizens noticed that the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder was no longer wearing her engagement ring in her recent posts.
While the two have yet to address the speculations, Cornerstone Entertainment, their talent management company, issued a statement about their relationship and said that the couple was “facing challenges.”
However, it said that Gray and Milby were “actively working on resolving these issues together.” The company also appealed for the couple’s privacy.
Hopes for Gray and Milby rekindling their romance sparked when the two were spotted together during the birthday celebration of Erickson Raymundo, the founder and president of Cornerstone Entertainment, in Pampanga.
On April 21, entrepreneur Pinky Tobiano shared a clip of the couple on IG where they could be seen sitting beside each other. She captioned her post, “The heat won’t stop this sweet couple Cat & Sam and we are all here to celebrate Erickson’s [birthday].”
News reports also shared a screenshot of the couple’s photo from Tabiano’s IG story, where they could be seen wearing floral outfits.
Several online users took to the comments section of Tobiano’s post to express how happy they were seeing the couple together.
Gray and Milby were rumored to be dating in 2019 but they went public about their relationship only in 2020.
