BLACKPINK unveils ‘Born Pink’ tour finale with two shows in Seoul

by RepublicAsia

TEN months after kicking off BLACKPINK’s ‘Born Pink’ world tour in October 2022, the iconic K-pop girl group announced its grand finale in a bittersweet moment for their fans.

In an instagram post, the quartet unveiled a poster announcement of the tour’s final two concerts in Seoul scheduled on September 16 and 17, the latter to be streamed online via WeVerse.

As the finale of their latest tour approaches and the group’s contract renewal with YG Entertainment still pending, fans are growing anxious, fearing that it might be the group’s last for a while.

As per their poster, offline tickets will be available via Interpark while online tickets may be purchased in WeVerse shop.

The upcoming concerts will bring the ‘Born Pink’ world tour to a total of 66 shows.

Over the past year, the quartet have toured multiple cities across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

Just last week, BLACKPINK celebrated their seventh year in the industry through tribute posts in their personal Instagram accounts and events across the United States and Asia.

Since their debut, the group has continued breaking records, storming Billboard Charts multiple times, climbing as high as No. 2 with their ‘Born Pink, Blackpink’ album.

Aside from performing for the group, member Jennie Kim has taken the feat of becoming one of Calvin Klein’s faces for the brands Fall 2023 campaign.

Joined by BTS’ Jungkook,  Alexa Demie, Kid Cudi, and Kendall Jenner the campaign features monochromatic and colored images of the stars flaunting the collection.

As per Calvin Klein’s official statement, “Jennie dials up her confidence in a mix of casual and refined Underwear and Jeans looks,” a post captioned “dialed all the way up. Can you feel it?” was posted on Calvin Klein’s official Instagram page.
