Bella Poarch was emotional as she talked about her divorce with her ex-husband on a podcast.

A podcast released by “Call Her Daddy” 4 days ago—Call Her Daddy host Alexandra Cooper sat down with media personality Bella Poarch.

On the podcast, Bella Poarch couldn’t hold back her tears as she opened up about her relationship with her ex-husband. The relationship lasted for seven years and just last year—Bella shocked the world by announcing her divorce.

In the interview, she revealed that they met when they were 19 while working at the United States Navy. They are both working on the same squadron—only that Bella is working with the weapons while her ex was working with the parachutes.

When the two of them started seeing each other at the gym, Bella said that she did the first move by saying ‘hi.’ The reason why she did this is because she knew that he was never going to do it due to him being an introvert.

The proposal happened two months later in Guam after 2 months of dating, where Bella’s ex got a diamond necklace instead of a ring. The engagement happened in 2 years and the two later got married in Hawaii.

Bella later shared how the two of them were both broke during the wedding day. “So we had zero dollars that night and we didn’t get to eat dinner, but we were married and we were so happy,” she said. “We were just so broke. Young, dumb and broke, literally. But happy.”

Right after sharing how her relationship started, Bella later talked about her divorce—stating how everything happened so fast.

“TikTok happened and he didn’t want to be in the spotlight,” she added. “I respect that though.”

While Bella wanted to become an artist and purse her music career, she claimed that the person she loves wants something different.

But despite the divorce—Bella clarified that she and her ex are on good terms. She stated that it was a mutual decision and confirmed that no one cheated.

“It was a mutual decision. There was a time when people cheated on him and that’s why we got a divorce, but that’s not actually the truth. Nothing like that happened.”
