A lost soul? ‘Ghost’ captured on video

by Kiko Cueto

It is not unusual to hear stories about encountering ghosts on the streets. We have the infamous white lady or a dog that seems to appear at every corner. seemingly looking at you.

But a most recent incident in Cagayan de Oro got many people spooked out of their seats because out of nowhere, a figure looking in their young teenage years darted towards a motorcycle rider, and just as they apparently “collided,” the kid, it disappeared.

And, yes, it was captured on video.

3 A.M.

There is something about 3 in the morning and ghostly apparitions. In folklore, it is considered the witching hour or devil’s hour. It is usually associated with supernatural events to which witches, demons and ghouls appear the most. Definitions vary and include the hour immediately after midnight and the time between 3:00 am and 4:00 am.

But as motorcycle rider Karl Dagus said, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. – the witching hour.

His helmet had a camera that recorded his travel.

Dagus said during his interview at the GMA Regional TV One Mindanao that he, along with his passenger or co-rider, were traversing the national highway at the Gusa Village in Cagayan de Oro City.

They were a few meters away from the spotlight when suddenly, a boy emerged seemingly out of nowhere, and just as they were nearing him, it made a mad dash, apparently being hit.

Dagus said he and his backrider slowed down and looked back, but nobody was around.

Dagus later said he felt a strong, cold wind pass through them.

When he returned home, he quickly reviewed his recording, and there it was – a young teenager with no recognizable face who appeared out of nowhere and disappeared without a trace.

The video had thousands of views and comments from netizens.

Earlier, Republicasia interviewed Fr. Peter Fortin of the Society of St. Pius X when the topic of demons living among us was discussed, and the exorcism of Clarita Villanueva was the topic, you can read the full article here.

He said that demons or the devils are real.

“Yes. We have proof, and these are in the Gospels, and we have many cases of demonic possession,” Fr. Fortin, a Catholic priest assigned to Our Lady of Victories Church in New Manila, Quezon City, said.

Now, whether you believe it or not is up to you. But priests often remind us to always pray to keep us away from such demonic threats.
