How did these local celebrities celebrate Halloween 2024?

FILIPINOS had different plans for themselves for the 2024 Halloween celebration.

With All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day declared as special non-working holidays in the country, people got to spend quality time for themselves and their loved ones.

While thousands flocked to cemeteries to visit their departed family members, others went out with friends, participated in a Halloween event, went on a trip, and celebrated milestones.

Just like them, some local celebrities also took a break from their busy schedules and made sure that their special non-working holidays were well spent.

Let’s take a look at how these stars celebrated this year’s Halloween season:

Marian, Dingdong host a star-studded Halloween dinner

Kapuso couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes hosted a Halloween dinner attended by several Kapuso celebrities like Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, and Kyline Alcantara. Julie Anne shared a few snaps from the intimate get-together, including their group photos, the dinner party table, and a Halloween-inspired Labubu doll, which has been a new collectible craze among Filipinos.

Nadine turns 31

In addition to Halloween, actress Nadine Lustre celebrated a milestone on October 31: her 31st birthday. The “Nokturno” actress posted a carousel of her photos on Instagram, giving off an island girl vibe with her orange crop top and a skirt. She tucked a flower in her ear to complete her look.

Gabbi spends time with Khalil in China

It was Halloween season but netizens felt the kilig in the air when actress Gabbi Garcia shared a few snaps of her holding hands with her boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, in Lijiang, China. The couple visited Shuhe Ancient Town and a mountain in the province.

Skyfam goes trick-or-treating

The beloved Skyfam—composed of Slater Young and Kryz Uy, and their kids Scott Knoa, Seven Kai, and Saxon Kent—dressed up as Ferrari drivers and Formula 1 fans for their 2024 Halloween celebration. The couple sported Ferrari-inspired bomber jackets, while their kids donned F1 driver outfits. In another post, Kryz and Slater accompanied Scott and Seven as they went trick-or-treating.

Benedict, son spread cuteness with Halloween costumes

This year’s Halloween season also had netizens giggling over the costumes of Sparkle star Benedict Cua and his son, Aleck. In an Instagram post, the content creator dressed up as Ash, while Aleck transformed into Pikachu from the beloved anime series “Pokémon.” In another post, Benedict recreated the character of Alfredo Linguini, while Aleck portrayed Remy from the animated film “Ratatouille.”

Yam’s ‘Ratatouille-inspired’ Halloween dinner

The “Ratatouille” film also inspired the Halloween costumes of actress and soon-to-be mother Yam Concepcion and her non-showbiz husband, Miguel CuUnjieng, who dressed up as Colette Tatou and Alfredo, respectively, for their Halloween dinner. Their dog, who wore a chef costume as Remy, stole the spotlight during the dinner.

MarJo dines out with friends

Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal, also known as MarJo, ramped up their fans’ excitement for their forthcoming reunion movie, “Ex Ex Lovers.” On Instagram, the “Magandang Buhay” host shared several photos from their catch-up dinner with friends, with one showing the popular ‘90s love team sitting beside one another. Further details about MarJo’s comeback movie, including its plot and release date, have yet to be revealed. “Ex Ex Lovers” will be directed by JP Habac and star Juan Karlos Labajo and Loisa Andalio.
