GOT7 hypes fans with first teaser of January 2025 comeback

2025 would definitely be the year for K-pop boy group GOT7 and its fans, collectively known as Ahgases.

The phenomenal septet—Jay B, Mark, Jinyoung, Jackson, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom—leveled up the excitement of their fandom when they dropped the first teaser of their long-awaited comeback to the K-pop scene next year.

On Thursday, GOT7 shared a concept photo where the members looked fierce in their all-black suits. It also bore the group’s logo and the date of their comeback which is set for January 20, 2025.

The septet shared the concept photo on their respective social media accounts, which trended on X (formerly Twitter) as the members expressed their excitement for their return as a full group.

“We back,” rapper Mark commented on GOT7’s Instagram post.

Main vocalist Youngjae, meanwhile, said “Let’s go” in Korean.

BamBam, also known as GOT7’s spoiler king, wrote, “Come and get it,” referring to their group greeting.

Fans, on the other hand, shared their reactions and fan theories about GOT7’s concept, with some likening it to the group’s “If You Do” and “Never Ever” eras.

GOT7’s comeback was confirmed by leader Jay B during his solo concert in Seoul, South Korea this month, with Mark and Youngjae present at the event.

‘Winter Heptagon’

GOT7 has not unveiled further details about its new music. However, several reports citing Kakao Entertainment said GOT7 would release a mini album called “Winter Heptagon.”

Kakao Entertainment was said to be in charge of planning and production of the new GOT7 album.

Fans theorized that the album’s title could refer to some of the brightest stars in the winter evening sky.

The forthcoming music will mark GOT7’s first group comeback in more than two years, after the release of its self-titled extended play (EP).

Jay B and Jinyoung enlisted in the military in 2023 and completed their mandatory service last month. Meanwhile, other GOT7 members were focused on releasing their music and holding concerts as soloists.

The latest members to drop their new music were Jay B with “Archive 1: [Road Runner]” album in November and maknae (youngest member) Yugyeom with his latest single “Sweet Like” on Wednesday, December 18.
