Fan meets to attend to this November

WE’RE now down to the last two months of 2023, but there are still a lot of events awaiting Filipino fans.

Many international artists came to the country in the previous months to perform and meet their fans, and November is no different.

Among the events that are lined up for this month is the “K-Blast Epic Party” on November 24, which will be attended by two former members of K-pop girl group 2NE1– Minzy and Park Bom.

Suho of K-pop boy group EXO, South Korean singer-songwriter Seori, Korean indie folk duo MeloMance, and three-member Korean indie band wave to earth are also set to participate in the On Music Festival on November 3. They will be joined by Filipino acts such as OPM singers Moira dela Torre and Darren.

But aside from these live music performances, Pinoy fans are also looking forward to interacting more with their idols through fan meetings.

This event offers fans and their favorite artist a close interaction with one another by playing various games, posing for a photo together, and participating in the goodbye session, which is among the benefits that fans may have access to based on their ticket tiers.

If you missed the news, here are the international artists who are set to visit Manila for a fan meet:

Mackenyu

It was announced in September that “One Piece” satr Mackenyu will headline the upcoming Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon) at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

But in case you won’t be able to attend ManiPopCon, which will be held from November 17 to 19, there is another chance for you to meet Mackenyut in the country.

Technology services and events company MediaKing Corp. announced on October 31, that the 26-year-old actor is set to hold his first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines, titled “Closer To You: Fun Fan Meet,” which will be held on November 20 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

MediaKing Corp. first teased about the event when it posted a silhouette photo of a man carrying a sword. The letter “Z” was also written on his background.

Mackenyu actor played the role of a skilled green-haired swordsman named Roronoa Zoro in the live adaptation of “One Piece.”

The organizers said that they will announce further details about the fan meet, such as ticket prices and seat plan, soon.

South Korean actor Choi Woo-shik is also set to meet his Filipino fans for his first fan meet in the country.

The fan meet, titled “Pinky Promise,” will be held on November 16 at the SM North Skydome.

Concert organizer Grand Larain Productions released the seat plan and ticket prices, which range from P5,500 to P9,500. The tickets went on sale on October 22 via SM Tickets.

In a Facebook video, the South Korean actor invited his Pinoy fans to join him at the event.

Choi gained prominence for his role as a free-spirited illustrator named Choi Woong in the 2021 South Korean romantic-comedy series “Our Beloved Summer.”

He is also part of the “Wooga Squad,” which also consists of actors Park Hyung-shik and Park Seo-joon, V of boy group BTS, and rapper Peakboy.

Another South Korean actor will be holding a fan meet in Manila this month.

Lee Jun-ho, who recently starred in the series “King the Land,” is set to return to the country to hold his “Junho the Moment” fan meet on November 11 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Concert promoter Live Nation Philippines started selling tickets for the event, with prices ranging from P3,250 to P13,500.

The fan meet will mark Lee’s first visit to the Philippines in 10 years, following the 2013 concert of K-pop boy band 2PM, of which he is a member.

The “King the Land” star is also set to participate in the 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) in December, which will take place at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
