TWICE’s ‘J-line’ to debut with Japanese OST

THE Japanese members of KPOP girl group TWICE are set to release an original soundtrack (OST) for a Japanese television series that will premiere on January 20.

As announced by TWICE Japan’s official Twitter page, the group’s Japanese sub-unit Mina Myoi, Sana Minatozaki, and Momo Hirai will be singing a song called Bouquet for TV Asahi’s upcoming Friday night series, Liaison -Children’s Heart Clinic-.

What’s the show all about?

Liaison -Children’s Heart Clinic-,  or Liaison: Kodomo no Kokoro Shinryoushou, is the TV series adaptation of a popular ongoing manga series in Japan that bears the same title.

This psychological drama anime follows the story of several doctors as they provide special care for children with developmental disabilities.

With the announcement of the OST release, members of TWICE’s fandom, called ONCE, expressed their excitement. They had waited several months for the sub-unit debut.

Double the fun

The song Bouquet as well as TWICE’s new English single Moonlight Sunrise will be released on the same day.

Mina, Sana, and Momo debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2015 with TWICE’s first extended play (EP) The Story Begins.

Who is TWICE?

Along with member Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung, TWICE gained immense popularity internationally for its catchy, groovy songs including What is Love (2018), Fancy (2019), Feel Special (2019), I CAN’T STOP ME (2020), and its most recent release Talk That Talk (2022).

While the group’s lead vocalist Nayeon has already established her solo career with the success of POP! (2022), Mina, Sana, and Momo will be the first sub-unit to debut from TWICE.
