IT seems like the Thai breakout stars of the international girl love (GL) hit GAP: The Series can’t get enough of their Filipino fans.
Series stars Freen Chankimha and Becky Armstrong are set to return to Manila for another fan meeting in July.
The love team will be holding their third fan meeting called Aromagicare FreenBecky Grand Fanmeeting in the country at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on July 4, local health and wellness brand Aromagicare announced via Facebook and Twitter.
Chankimha and Armstrong are both Thai ambassadors of the local brand.
“Let’s gather together for a grand fan meeting with a concert-themed celebration full of grand surprises and gifts,” it wrote.
It said Chankimha and Armstrong will be the first Thai celebrities to hold a fan meeting at the Big Dome under a brand endorsement. This visit will also make the Philippines the actresses’ most visited country.
Filipino fans will get the chance to ask questions to the pair, known by their ship name FreenBecky, during the Q&A portion of the fan meeting.
Fans can also enjoy games and witness performances from the Thai actresses.
Miss Trans Global 2020 Mela Habijan will host the event. Filipino actress and host Rhian Ramos will also join the fan meeting as a special guest.
Chankimha and Armstrong visited the country in April to stage their FreenBecky Fabulous fan meeting at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City and Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
Their first fan meeting in the country, dubbed The Debutante: A watch party for the uncut last episode of GAP The Series, was held last February at the SM North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City.
Ticket prices for the FreenBecky fan meeting range from P2,900 to P10,900.
Ticket sales will begin on May 29 at 3 p.m. for MVP, VIP, and patron seat tiers. Meanwhile, ticketing for lower and upper box tickets will start on June 5 at 12 noon.

GAP: The Series premiered in November 2022 and features two queer characters Samanan Anantrakul (played by Chankimha) and Mon Kornkamon (portrayed by Armstrong).
The two started off as childhood acquaintances, and Mon idolized Sam for a long time and aimed to work under her company. However, her perception of Sam changed after the latter showed her true colors. But this didn’t stop the two from developing feelings for each other.
Packed with romantic scenes and lines, the GL series became a worldwide hit.
The GL duo kicked off their solo world tour earlier this year, starting off in Thailand in March. The list of countries in the FreenBecky Fabulous Fan Boom includes Macau, Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, China, and the United States.
The GAP: The Series director Nuttapong Wongkaveepairoj, also known as Kru A, announced that the love team will also be working on their debut film this year.
The series’ lead actresses have received various awards from their performance in the series.
Just recently, FreenBecky took home the People’s Choice Award during the NineEntertain Awards 2023.
They also received the Couple of the Year award in this year’s Kazz Awards on May 16.
Chankimha won the Popular Female Teenage Award during the same event, while Armstrong received the Rising Female of the Year Award.
Sarocha Chankimha, nicknamed Freen, is a 24-year-old Thai actress under Idol Factory. She was also one of the top 15 finalists in the Miss Teen Thailand 2016 competition.
Before leading GAP: The Series, she played the lead in a drama called So Fit in 2021.
She also worked with Armstrong in the 2022 drama Secret Crush on You.
Meanwhile, Thai-English Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, also known as Becky, is an actor, singer, and model.
She has starred in several dramas, including TharnType Season 2: 7 Years of Love and Secret Crush on You. She was also one of the main characters in the 2023 film Long Live Love.
